You should only register for VAT if the head office is legally established in the United Arab Emirates.

If your head office is located outside the UAE and you’re providing services to clients in the UAE, you may need to register for VAT (Value Added Tax) in the UAE, depending on the rules and thresholds set by the UAE tax authorities. VAT is a tax on the value added to goods and services at each stage of production or distribution.

In simple terms, if the UAE government requires businesses like yours to register for VAT and you meet the criteria, it means you need to collect VAT from your UAE clients on the services you provide, and then report and pay that collected VAT to the government. This is similar to sales tax in some other countries.

If you are a foreign company providing services to clients in the UAE, you may be required to register for VAT in the UAE. It is mandatory for businesses to register for VAT if the taxable supplies and imports of a UAE-based business exceed AED 375,000 per annum. If a non-UAE-based business makes taxable supplies in the UAE, regardless of its value, and there is no other person obligated to pay the due tax on these supplies in the UAE, it must also register for VAT.

No, you do not have to register for VAT. Only if the head office is registered in UAE you should be registering for VAT.

In my knowledge, if you are providing taxable services or goods to the customers of the UAE then you may be required to pay tax , You Should consult any Tax consultants for further details

I am not a licensed chartered account to comment on this. But I can say that if you are a business based outside of the UAE but providing taxable supplies of goods or services to customers in the UAE, you may be required to register for VAT in UAE, if the total value of the taxable supplies in UAE exceeds the compulsory registration threshold of AED 375,000 per year.
