The UAE government do not have a separate tax specifically for luxury products. However, the UAE introduced a Value Added Tax (VAT) in 2018, which applies to a wide range of goods and services, including some luxury items. The standard VAT rate was 5%.

There is no separate tax for luxury products in the UAE. Value Added Tax or VAT is a tax on the consumption or use of goods and services. A VAT of 5 per cent is levied at the point of sale. Businesses collect and account for the tax on behalf of the government. This applies to all goods and services, including luxury products.

No, there is no separate tax for luxury products in the UAE. Luxury goods and services are subject to the same tax laws as other products and services, with a standard 5% value-added tax (VAT) applied to most goods and services in the country. However, some luxury goods may be subject to additional customs duties or fees upon importation. These fees can vary depending on the specific product and its country of origin. Overall, VAT is the primary tax to be aware of in the UAE, regardless of the type of product or service being purchased.

As far as I know, there is no separate tax for luxury products in UAE. All products and services are subject to the same VAT rate of 5%, regardless of whether they are considered luxury items or not. For some services like education, healthcare services, etc, you don't need to pay tax.
